Lipscomb's Small Business Bash
The Lipscomb Honors College hosts their second small business bash.
The Honors College hosted their second small business bash last Wednesday. It featured a variety of businesses from homemade granola to thrift finds. The event was lively, with students stopping in and out for live music, games, and browsing the businesses of their fellow classmates.
The specific businesses were, Granola’d, Evangelistic Apparel, Gould Digger Thrifts, Joy and Ginger, Bubblee Bee Bath Co, Y’Alexia’s Sweet Touch, Cactology, Coco Cabana, Mighty Sprout, and Lavender Design Co.
Keeping the same structure from last semester the Honors College also had live music during the bash. Those artists included Zach Cook & Logan Weatherly, Annie Harsch, Logan Bennett, Sydney Brown, Dani Nicole, and Reiley Moore.
The bash supported the same Non-Profit they donated to last semester, Book ‘Em. The non-profit has the goal of increasing childhood literacy here in Nashville. Book ‘Em hosts book donations, sends out volunteers to the schools in Nashville to read to children, as well as donate books to those schools and other organizations.
Compared to last semester there were three more small businesses that were on display and there were six businesses that were new to the small business bash.
The event overall was a success and can now be something that Lipscomb small business owners and students can look forward to each semester.
